I also have an art degree (Fine Art) Street art is of course art, anything may be art... these are fun but not groundbreaking and I have to disagree that you cannot compare... to say you shouldn't compare one type of art or one artists work to another is ridiculous. Art should exist for the public, to say the public are not allowed to comment/compare is not only artistic elitism its also verging on the disruption of free speech. Street art is of course art, anything may be art… these are fun but not groundbreaking and I have to disagree that you cannot compare… to say you shouldn’t compare one type of art or one artists work to another is ridiculous.
